In the Mathematics Department we provide exciting and rewarding experiences for all learners. We prepare our learners to develop into confident and numerical individuals who can deal with all aspects of mathematics within the chosen career path and within all aspects of adult life.
We achieve this through our commitment to excellent teaching and learning, diverse lessons that motivate and encourage all learners and a robust, broad and differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of Ysgol Llanhari learners. We have high expectations of our learners so that they can achieve their full potential. They develop skills in analysis, reasoning, creativity, co-operation and self-evaluation in order to solve mathematical problems.
