The Geography Department aims to foster a love and passion for Geography by offering lively lessons with a variety of activities both inside and outside the classroom. Considerable emphasis is placed on pupils developing their key and thinking skills with numerous opportunities for them to develop their problem solving skills and to work independently where appropriate. Emphasis is placed on the importance of pupils developing an understanding of current affairs and we aim to develop them into responsible citizens, who appreciate the need to be sustainable by identifying purposefully with the views of different groups of people.
