The aim of the Drama Department is to nurture and develop the creative and social skills of our pupils so that
they can be confident and considerate members of our school community and the wider community. The thematic
curriculum we offer enriches cross-subject skills and the disciplines within the expressive arts. In our lessons,
pupils get regular experiences to develop their communication skills in Welsh, opportunities to analyze multi-cultural
texts and opportunities to interpret character by performing for an audience. Through constant collaboration with
others as a pair or group, together with independent work; we trust that Drama will help to develop successful
individuals and leaders, whatever career our pupils choose.
